Meditation: Loving Yourself

Notice your breath

Focus on love
Practice loving yourself
Or feeling yourself surrounded by love

You might say to yourself, inwardly or out loud, “I love you.”

You can try doing this with
your heart
your desires
your wounds
your insecurities
your fears
your suffering
your “mistakes”

If you notice resistance,
Practice loving your resistance,
Breathing into your resistance
Or just being curious about your resistance

Notice how you feel

Practice this as a 5-15 minute meditation or throughout the day this week. If your mind wonders, it’s perfectly normal. Realizing you’re thinking about something else and refocusing is the practice.
