Find a comfortable position

Bring awareness to your breath
Notice your in-breath
Notice your out-breath
You can say to yourself, “in” as you breathe in
And “out” as you breathe out

As you breathe in, imagine becoming weightless or lighter
Do this for a few breath cycles

As you breathe out, imagine yourself becoming more relaxed or heavier
Do this for a few breath cycles

Notice how you feel

Bring awareness to your pelvic floor and your pelvis
Notice any feeling or sensation
As you breathe in, feel lightness in your pelvic floor and pelvis
As you breathe out, feel heaviness or relaxation in your pelvic floor and pelvis

Notice how you feel

Cari’s weekly Meditations include self-healing and self-actualization tools for you to use anytime, anywhere. If your mind wonders, it’s perfectly normal. Realizing you’re thinking about something else and refocusing is the practice.

These meditations are used by the Berkshire Health Systems. They also inspire poetry by Sarah Elkins. For Guided Meditations with Cari at The Greenbrier Resort, call 888.598.8412.
